Activation

πŸ’‘ SIM Card Types:

€10 – Usually blank SIM cards (require plan to be loaded during activation)

€15, €20, €30 – Preloaded SIM cards

Step 1 – Locate the Order in Airtable

  1. Search for the order in Airtable.

  2. On the first line, check for:

    • Customer notes
    • Internal notes
    • Cancellations or refunds

    ⚠️ Do not proceed if cancelled/refunded.

Step 2 – Confirm SIM Type

  1. Confirm SIM Type is Physical SIM Card.
  2. Confirm it’s Vodafone ES (e.g., €10, €15, €20, €30).

Step 3 – Open Physical SIM Activation Section

  1. Locate the Physical SIM Activation Section in Airtable.

  2. Click into the SIM Card Number.

  3. Fill in:

    • Activation Date = Arrival Date
    • Days = 28
    • Customer Email
    • Activation Status = Activation Requested
    • Passport details in Remarks (Internal)

Step 4 – Submit in HOMSIM Portal

  1. Sign in to HOMSIM Portal.
  2. Click New Activation.
  3. Enter the phone number and select the correct plan.
  4. Enter:
    • Activation Date
    • Passport details
    • Name, Surname, Nationality, DOB
    • Gender (dropdown: Man/Woman)
  5. Save the activation.

Step 5 – Send Confirmation Email to the Customer

  1. In Airtable, go to the Confirmation Email field and update the status to Sent.

Step 6 – Verify Email Was Sent

  1. Check the Sent Items folder in the email account.
  2. Confirm the activation email was successfully sent to the customer.

Step 7 – Update Activation Request in HOMSIM Portal

  1. Return to the Activation Portal.
  2. In the customer’s activation line:
    • Processed = Yes
    • Add note: Confirmation email sent
