🚨 Order Risk Management

We’ve updated how we handle order risk levels in Shopify and Airtable β€” please read carefully and follow the steps below.

βœ… A Shopify Flow automation is now active:

  • High Risk and Medium Risk orders will be automatically tagged.
  • All orders will still be fulfilled automatically as usual.
  • But we still need to manually review and request ID depending on risk level and payment type.

πŸ” How to Identify Risk Levels in Airtable
Look for the β€œTags” field under each order.
You’ll see:

  • High Risk
  • Medium Risk
  • Low Risk

πŸŸ₯ High Risk Orders
Automatically tagged as High Risk

βœ… Order is still fulfilled automatically.

πŸ“§ Action Required:

  • Credit Card payment: Ask for ID of the cardholder via email.
  • PayPal payment: Ask for ID of the PayPal account holder via email.
⚠️ Do not mention verifying PayPal names β€” we cannot see the name on our side. Just ask for the ID and check if it matches the order details.

🟧 Medium Risk Orders
Automatically tagged as Medium Risk
βœ… Order is still fulfilled automatically.

πŸ“§ Action Required:
Same process as High Risk:

  • Credit Card: Ask for ID of the cardholder
  • PayPal: Ask for ID of PayPal holder (no mention of matching names)

🟩 Low Risk Orders
βœ… New Quick Review Rules:

  1. If the order is:

    • In AUD
    • Under $200 AUD
    • Billing address is in Australia
    • Currency is AUD
➀ You can fulfil the order β€” no ID needed.
  2. If the billing address matches the eSIM destination country (e.g. billing in France for a Europe eSIM):
➀ Request ID of the payment holder via email before proceeding.

  3. If none of the above applies:

    • Check:
      • Purchase country vs billing address
      • Currency used
      • Name/email/card consistency
    • If anything looks suspicious:
➀ Flag in CSR group chat
➀ Note in the Daily Task Report
➀ E-Commerce Specialist will approve or decline.

πŸ“… Daily Review Reminder:
At the start of your shift, review all Low, Medium and High Risk orders from:
πŸ• The end of the last person’s shift β†’ up to the current time
Filter in Airtable by:

  • Fraud Risk = Low, Medium or High

πŸ›  Shopify Automation Summary

  • Tags orders as High Risk or Medium Risk
  • Does not stop fulfilment
  • You still need to check and take action manually based on payment method
