Understanding Calls and Texts

Types of SIM Cards:

The SIM cards we offer vary in their inclusions:

  • Data Only: No calls or text.
  • Local Calls and texts: Calls and texts within the local country only.
  • International Calls and texts: Some cards include calls and texts to specific countries.
Making International Calls:

When making calls to or from the included countries, it’s essential to use the correct country code.

US SIM Cards (T-Mobile or AT&T):

  • Calling from the US to Canada and Mexico:
    • Canada: Dial +1 followed by Canadian phone number.
    • Mexico: Dial +52 followed by Mexican phone number.
  • Calling from Canada or Mexico to the US:
    • Dial +1 followed by the US phone number.

Europe & UK SIM Cards:

Calling between the UK and Europe:

  • UK: Dial +44 followed by the UK phone number.
  • Germany: Dial +49 followed by the German phone number.
  • France: Dial +33 followed by the French phone number.
  • Italy: Dial +39 followed by the Italian phone number.
  • Spain: Dial +34 followed by the Spanish phone number.

Important Notes:

If a customer is having trouble with making calls the first things to check is:

  1. Are calls included in the customer’s plan?
  2. Is the customer using the correct dialing format to make the call?

For data-only SIM cards, we can recommend using apps like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Facetime, Instagram, Skype, etc. for calls and messages over the internet.
